The following letter was written by one of our "Adoption Moms".
"Hello,
We wanted to thank you so much for the little bundle of joy your society brought into our lives. We saw one of your lovely volunteers sitting with by the cats and she explained to us what your rescue society was all about. I thought I would love to adopt a cat from you. Then I picked up a big Siamese-cross whom instantly started purring and I was in love. At the time his name was Sake, but we have since changed his name to Fidel as we feel he suited that name a little more.
Well, he has been wonderful. Although he was 6 when we adopted him, he still plays like a kitten and loves to play fetch with a crumpled up paper ball. Everyone who pets him loves his smooth coat. He is now a 'big city cat' and lives in a condo in downtown Vancouver with us and loves watching the cars drive by.
We adore our 'little pal' as we call him and couldn't imagine life without him. The work you do is so wonderful and we are very grateful for it. We hope others like us continue to enjoy the love a little fur-ball adoption can bring.
All the best and many thanks,
Shawna and Parker"
